Best Christmas Gift EVER!!
I was watching The Boy while his momma slept-in and he was getting rather fussy, but didn't seem sleepy. So I put him in his crib with his disco ball (a good size plastic ball that lights up and plays mid-90's style dance music when you touch it) and left him alone. I was cooking and realized that he wasn't making as much noise and sure enough, I walked in and he was laying down sucking his thumb. I turned on his music box and didn't hear a peep from him for 45 minutes. In other words, Evan laid down and went to sleep all on his very own !!!!! No rocking. No singing. No hand-wringing by the parents. Just boom. Asleep.

It's a christmas miracle.

Make that TWO!!!!! Christmas miracles. He went down for his 3rd nap all by himself. Didn't even fuss. I don't know why he chose today, but his disposition on the matter is completely different and this has to be one of the best days ever.

He's turning into a big boy.
