Boogers

Evan's had a cold for about two weeks now, and his main symptom is boogers. Jerry taught him what a booger is. Later that day, Jerry was soaking some beans in a big pot of water, and Evan saw them and said, "oogie oogie oggie boogers," while pointing at the pot of beans. Jerry told him that they were, in fact, not boogers, but beans.

Every night I read to him. Currently, his favorite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. He also likes his Barney and Elmo books and a book about Dinosaurs called Dinosaur Roar. Last night I was reading one, and I would ask where the dog was, the cat, Cookie Monster, etc., and he was pointing to everything. At one point, I said, "Where's the flower?" and he pointed at a dragonfly. I showed him where the actual flower was and said that the other thing was a dragonfly. Then we read it again, and I asked where the flower was, and I could tell he was confused... so he took both his pointy fingers and pointed at both the flower and the dragonfly. He's sneaky.
