Something dropped
It suddenly got really hard to walk, and I can feel a bunch of downward pressure, and it hurts! Everything is sore. And I'm cranky.
I described all of this to my doctor and she said the baby probably dropped (became engaged). Evan never dropped, not until he was ready to be born. I've heard people talk about it before, but I didn't know it was painful. Why did no one tell me?

Evan finally got over his flu. It lasted 6 days total. Somehow, Jerry and I escaped it. I was so afraid that I would go into labor when he was sick, and we wouldn't be able to drop him off with a sitter. But he's back to his cheerful, sassy self. He was so happy to see his friends again today, he practically smothered them with hugs... though moments later he remembered he has to "share," and that caused some problems. Luckily, the kids kept each other so busy that I was able to sit around like a bump on a log and not do a whole lot, so I didn't get too tired. But by 5:30 I was beat.
