Isaac 2 month Dr. appointment

Isaac had his 2-month Dr. appointment. He's grown over 4 lbs in over 2 months. Here are his stats:
Height: 23 1/2" (75th percentile)
Weight: 13 lbs, 6 1/2 oz (70th percentile)
Head circumference: 15 3/4" (50th percentile)

He spends about 5 minutes every morning smiling at me and holding eye contact. It's so sweet. He has also started "standing" on his legs and bouncing up and down a little. One of his favorite things to do is stare at the lines on his swing while it's in motion, which was Evan's favorite pasttime. He's still a pretty easy baby. I've started putting him down in his bassinet once he's been awake for a couple hours, and it seems to have reduced his fussiness.

I'm feeling much better about the daycare. I was really, extremely burned out, but I now close one hour earlier, and I'm letting the kids play outside a lot more (like 3 hours a day), and that's made a huge difference. I'm so glad it's warm. They play in the sand for hours sometimes, and we also play with buckets of water. Good times.

Evan (after receiving an M&M for peeing on the potty, lying on tummy on the window seat cushion, looking lovingly at his candy, talking in extremely high-pitched voice): Hi blue candy, Hi blue candy! [more contemplation, still looking at candy]: I looove you!

Evan (sitting on couch w/ me, holding a chunk of my hair out in a straight line, with half of the hair hunk hanging straight down): Look, mommy! Cranky Crane.
Me: Oh, is that a crane?
Evan (holding hair out in straight line): Look, mommy, train tracks.
