Tonight I was reading a book to Evan and Isaac while we were hanging out on the bottom bunk. Isaac was kind of bored and fidgety. Out of the blue, he turned towards Evan and gently put his hand on Evan's arm, and snuggled into Evan's chest. Then he said, "I wuv you, Evan." For a split second, I expected Evan to say, "Yeah, I know," or something brotherly like that, but instead, he looked at me with a temporary look of surprise and excitement, and said, "I love you too, Isaac." It was precious.
