Being two is tiring

Doe Doe

We're doing well. Jerry is remodeling our bathroom like crazy, using every spare minute of his evenings to fix up the house. He's also building a deck railing in the backyard so Evan doesn't ride his bike off the edge anymore. I'm not doing a whole lot-- just enjoying Evan when I get home in the evenings.

I don't think he likes his daycare anymore. Ever since his teacher left (which included her daughter, his girlfriend Lexi), he hasn't been wanting to go to school. He starts to whine when I pull into the parking lot. It makes me sad.

Somehow Evan has confused the words "door" and "open." When he wants me to open something, like a jar of peanut butter, he says, "doe doe..."
