Two weeks left!

Ok, it's more like 2 weeks, 2 days, but whatever. Last night I had a doctor appointment, and he said I am dilated 1.5 centimeters, and 50% effaced. The baby is head-down, but once again facing the wrong way, which explains the weird stabbing pains and really bad back pain and inability to walk at all normally. A couple weeks ago they told me she was facing backwards (facing my belly button), so I did a bunch of back exercises, and she successfully rotated. But then I stopped doing the exercices, and she flipped back. Now that she is really low, it might be too hard to flip her back. Drats.

Last week they estimated her weight, and put her at 6lbs, 10 oz. If she gains just under 1/2 lb per week for the next 3 weeks, that would put her at about 8.5 lbs on her due date. I would be thrilled with such a petite baby after my last two!

Anyway, feeling very anxious and ready for this to progress to the next step. :)

Me: Isaac, how old are you?
Isaac: Pive.
Me: No, Evan is five. How old are you?
Isaac: Tirty-nine.
Me: Are you two?
Isaac: No two. Tirty-nine!

Evan: Here, daddy, here's a hand stamp for your hand because you did such a good job with dinner.

And my favorite conversation ever...
Evan: Mommy, you can really eat a lot.
Jerry: That's because Mommy has the biggest belly of us all.
Evan: Yeah, but daddy, you have a bigger belly.
Mommy: Yeah, daddy.
Evan: And daddy, the reason your belly is bigger is because you are OLDER.
Mommy: Take that.
For the 100th time, I want to point out that Evan is the most loyal boy ever.

Poo Poo

Isaac has developed a boy sense of humor. We keep having conversations like this.
Me: Isaac, what are you doing?
Isaac: Playing cars. (and then thinks about it)... Poo poo.

Or, with a mischevious smile on his face, he'll say,
Isaac: Playing cars poo poo.

Evan's "funny" thing right now is garbage trucks, so we also hear:
Jerry: Come on down for dinner!
Evan: (snickering) Ok garbage truck!
Isaac: Garbage truck poo poo.
Mass laughter occurs for 20 minutes.

Today Isaac and I had this conversation:
Isaac: Mommy, go my birtday?
Me: No, it's not your Birthday yet.
Isaac: In March.
Me: Yup, you'll be three in March.
Isaac: No, forty-nine.
Me: No... you'll be three.
Isaac: No, FORTY NINE.
Me: Ok...

Their favorite book right now is called Potty Poo Poo Pee Pee.

On that note, Isaac peed on the potty standing up today! He pees on the potty about once a month.

I had my baby shower today. It was fun! Here are some pictures. Six weeks to go.

And one from the backyard.
